Delete your Audie account
You can delete your Audie account and its data at any time. Audie is an audiobook app by August Publishing House, distributed on Google Play by VistaFlix LLC.
Option 1: In the app (fastest)
- Open Audie and tap the profile icon at the top right of Home to open Settings.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
Your account is deleted immediately.
Option 2: Without the app
Email info@augustpublishinghouse.com with the subject "Delete my Audie account". Send it from the email address of the Google account you use to sign in to Audie, so we can confirm the account is yours. We will delete it within 30 days and reply when it is done.
What is deleted
- Your account details (email address, name and profile photo from Google Sign-In)
- Your listening progress, bookmarks and saved books
- The list of books unlocked for your account
What is kept
- Purchase records (order ID, product, date and status), with the link to you removed, for as long as needed for accounting, tax and fraud prevention.
- Usage statistics, which were never linked to your account, for up to 24 months.
Books you bought
Purchases belong to your Google Play account. If you later sign in to Audie again with the same Google account and tap Settings → Sync now, the books you bought through Google Play are unlocked again.
Deleting only some data
To delete only part of your data, for example your listening history or bookmarks, without deleting your account, email us at the address above and tell us what to remove.
Data on your phone
Downloaded audio and settings stay on your phone until you uninstall Audie or clear its storage (Android Settings → Apps → Audie → Storage → Clear storage).
